For a long period,there have been a lot of misconceptions about the transformer economic operation due to the developing technology of transformer manufacture.This article presents a theoretical formula to evaluate transformer economic operation and verifies the conventional conclusions deduced from the previous transformer parameters.On the basis of the new transformer parameters,the authors analyze the misconceptions and prove their new conceptions.In the end the article enunciates the new conceptions with examples and demonstrates their economic effects on energy consumption.The article provides new conceptions about transformer economic operation and useful guides for their practical applications.
