对工程型人才与高等应用型人才的含义作了阐释与比较。高等应用型人才相对于学术、科学型人才而言 ,是多层次的 ,工程型人才应包括设计、实施、经营管理人才。讨论了与高等应用型人才培养有关的认识问题。

This paper compares and interprets two types of talents:higher application_orientated and engineerˉing_orientated talents.Application_orientated professionals are in contrast with academic,scientific_orientated ones;while engineering_orientated professionals should cover the fields of design,practice,management and administration.This paper also explores the understanding on howto cultivate higher application_orentated talents.
