The Jewish philosophy is different both from rationalist philosophy of West and the intuitionism of ancient China. As a new mode of thought, it is 'both East and West'. It not only explains its own tradition in forms with rationalist mode of thought of Western philosophy, but also unifies itself in contents with Western philosophy. Its meaning to Chinese philosophy lies in that it identifies the direction along which modern Chinese philosophy develops and it is feasible to combines Chinese and Western philosophies; that while modern Chinese philosophy fails in amalgamating with Western philosophy both in forms and contents, it provides a paradigm of reference for the future; that as a religious philosophy, it reminds the future Chinese philosophy should pay attention to the element of religious belief.
