高等学校在西部大开发中具有重要作用

Important Function Performed by High Institutions in the Great Development of Western Part of China

西部地区在经济发展中存在整体产业结构层次低、工业增长滞后、服务业结构不合理、优秀人才缺乏等问题。近几年,高等学校开展与西部地区全面合作,承担重大项目,为西部地区提供智力服务和人才支持,在西部大开发中发挥了重要作用。在此,根据专家分析,并结合作者在西部的亲身体会,对高校在西部开发中的作用作了简要分析。

The Western part of China has several problems in the economic development,such as low level of whole industry structure,lag of industry development ,irrationality of service industry struc-ture,lack of high-qualified persons ,and so on. in recent years ,the high institutions have fully cooper-ated with Western part and performed very important function in carrying out key projects ,providing intelligent service and personnel support. It briefly analyzes the function of high institutions in the Western part development based on experts survey and author's own experience.
