Polyglutamic acid is a new biodegradable material. It has a special use in the field of new drug delivery system(DDS). In this paper, the use of polyglutamic acid and its derivatives in recent years on improving drugs watersolubility, reducing toxicity, control / slow release and increasing drugs targeting were summarized.
