摘要
本文从社会资本的理论视角,探讨国际新创企业成长驱动力问题,结果发现,从社会资本的各维度分析结果来看,仅有结构维度的社会资本对海外市场知识水平的正向作用得到了支持,实证结果不支持关系维度和认知维度的社会资本与新创企业海外知识获取的正向关系。实证结果还发现,海外市场知识在社会资本与新创企业国际化之间并不起作用。这表明,在社会资本存在的条件下,新创企业无须通过海外市场知识的获取,也能够进行国际化经营,社会资本在企业国际化过程中起到更为关键的作用。
From the theoretical perspective of social capital,this article explores the growth driver issue of international new ventures.From the various dimensions of social capital analysis,only the hypothesis that structural dimension of social capital has positive effects on the level of knowledge of overseas markets has been supported.We did not find positive effects of the relational and cognitive dimensions on the acquisition of foreign market knowledge of new ventures.However,foreign market knowledge has no mediating effects between social capital and internationalization of new ventures.This demonstrates that when social capital is available,new ventures can go international without acquisition of foreign market knowledge,and that social capital plays a key role in the process of internationalization.
