Schleiermacher’s translations and interpretations of Plato’s dialogues,especially his'introduction to Plato'and commentaries,are insightful and influential.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to extract some main principles of his interpretation on Plato,some of which are'search for ideas in the work itself','indivisible unit of form and content',and'determination of original sequences and inevitable consistencies',through philological approaches to Platonic dialogues.
