Wilhelm Wien and Max Wien are both German physicists who did great contributions to the development of modern physics.Their achievements have been recognized by the contemporaries and some physical terms in use have been named after them.This article aims to give a detailed overview about the life,career and research activities of these two great scientists.Their roles as the president of the German Physical Society are also discussed.
