内侧缰核的生理功能

摘要 缰核(habenula,Hb)在生物进化的过程中是一个古老且非常保守的核团,位于第三脑室附近,属于上丘脑的一部分,可分为内侧缰核(medial habenula,MHb)和外侧缰核(lateral habenula,LHb)。内外侧缰核有着完全不同的解剖学特征和功能。以大鼠为例,内侧缰核被划分为5个亚核团而外侧缰核被划分为10个亚核团。从生物学功能来讲,缰核的作用很广泛,如母性行为、恐惧调节、睡眠、学习、奖赏等。现已研究的大部分生物学功能都与外侧缰核有关,而对内侧缰核研究进展缓慢。事实上,内侧缰核是连接边缘前脑和中脑的关键结构。最近研究表明,内侧缰核与应激反应、内侧缰核与尼古丁成瘾、内侧缰核与恐惧等很多方面都关系密切,这也暗示其重要的生物学功能。
