A literature review on the international evaluation of the disciplines in China's universities and prospect of research

摘要 在国务院取消国家重点学科审批权之后,我国高校应借鉴国外先进学科评估理念和做法,致力于提高我国高校学科的国际竞争力。从现有较少的国内外学科国际评估的理论与实践研究成果出发,借鉴美国、英国高校学科国际评估经验,提出完善我国学科国际评估的对策建议:学科建设思路从重点学科向高水平学科转化,树立学科国际标杆意识,将国际认证作为提高学科国际竞争力的重要途径,培育高校内部的学科评估文化。 As the State Council abolished the policy of national key disciplines in January 2014,China's universities should draw lessons from those of the developed countries,aiming to improve the international competitiveness of the disciplines. Based on the research into the international evaluation of disciplines at home and abroad,especially the experiences in the US and the UK,some suggestionsput forward to perfect the international evaluation of China's universities are as follows: to transform our ideas from the key disciplines to high- level disciplines; to build awareness of the international benchmarking of the disciplines;to regard the international accreditation as an important way to improve the international competitiveness of the disciplines; and to cultivate the inner culture of evaluation in universities.
