How does intellectual property drive SMEs' innovation in a shared economic environment

随着互联网的快速发展和信息技术(IT)的广泛应用,中小企业面临更加开放多变的环境,如何提升开放式创新水平是促进中小企业可持续成长的重点。本文以知识产权为调节变量,深入分析IT灵活性和IT整合性对中小企业开放式创新影响的内在机理。在此基础上,以2683家中小企业为样本进行实证检验,结果表明,IT灵活性和IT整合性对中小企业开放式创新程度有显著的正向影响,知识产权制度建设正向调节了IT灵活性和IT整合性与中小企业开放式创新程度的关系。该结论说明加强知识产权制度建设,为企业创造良好的知识产权环境,是提升中小企业开放式创新水平的可行途径。

With the rapid development of Internet and wide use of information technology( IT),SMEs are facing a more open and changeable environment,the key to improve the level of open innovation is to promote sustainable development of SMEs. This paper takes the intellectual property rights as the moderator,and deeply analyzes the internal mechanism of the impact of IT flexibility and IT integration on the open innovation of SMEs. On this basis,an empirical testing of 2683 SMEs is conducted and the results show that IT flexibility and IT integration has a significant positive impact on open innovation level of SMEs,and the relationship between intellectual property rights system construction positively regulates the relationship between IT flexibility and IT integration and the SMEs' open innovation degree. The conclusion shows that strengthening the construction of intellectual property rights system and creating a good intellectual property environment for enterprises is a feasible approach to enhance the open innovation level of SMEs.
