This article analyzes the advances of emergency communication in recent years and the new demands of emergency communication.Then it introduces a novel broadband wireless emergency communication system named MiWAVE and it's deployment solutions.Afterwards,it presents its key technologies,characteristics and applications.The article describes the remote wireless video surveillance of Tangjiashan Barrier Lake realized by MiWAVE.
