基于网络的新型虚拟研究组织——计算化学虚拟实验室

A Virtual Research Organization Based on Network Cooperation—“Computational Chemistry Virtual Laboratory"

2004年,一批来自国内外20多个单位的化学家和计算数学、信息技术科研工作者,在中国科学院计算机网络信息中心联合组建了一个新型的基于网络协同工作的虚拟研究组织——计算化学虚拟实验室。本文介绍了它的发展历程及长期发展目标,并总结了自成立以来在科学研究、自主软件开发和国内外学术交流等方面取得的突出成果。文章最后展望了实验室在‘十一五'期间的工作和任务。

In 2004,a group of chemists,computational mathematics scientists and information technology scientists from more than 20 institutions,home or abroad,co-built a virtual research organization based on network cooperation- 'Computational Chemistry Virtual Laboratory' in Computer Network Information Center,Chinese Academy of Sciences.In this paper,we introduce its background,history and long-term goal.Prominent achievements in conducting scientific research,developing independent intellectual property's software and promoting academic exchanges between domestic and international computational chemists are also concluded.An outlook about its key work and task is discussed at the end of the paper.
