摘要
e-Science是指在各环节采用先进信息技术提供支持与服务的环境下进行的科研活动以及由此产生的新的科研模式。本文分析了社会科学研究传统方法和该领域信息化工作的局限,探索了社科研究e-Social Science(eSS)的方法和出路:突破传统方法的禁锢,以人机结合的综合集成为方法基础,以网格计算环境、知识系统、科学数据库为物质保障。本文最后展望,eSS提供了社会科学研究新的模式和环境,将带来社会科学研究的创新和科学管理的飞跃,不仅将提高研究效率,研究成果也会更加完美。
e-Science means scientific research activity which is supported and served comprehensively with advanced information technology forming a new study mode. This paper analyzed limits of traditional social scientific research methodologies and its informalization work,then probed into new methods called e-Science or e-Social Science(eSS) : making a breakthrough in traditional methodologies,taking synthetic and integrated methodologies of man-machine system supported with grid computing environment,knowledge system,scientific database and so on. Finally a big change will be expected that e-Science would provide new social scientific research mode and environment,bring social scientific research reforming and management science advancing to increase work efficiency and make perfect achievement.
