基于传统目录学的古籍文献数据库建设之思考

Development of a Database of Chinese Ancient Books Based on Classic Bibliography

文、史、哲等传统学科的学者需要面对浩如烟海的古籍,由于数量庞大和阅读不易,古籍数据库的作用便越来越大,而如何建设古籍数据库便成为一个与传统学术密切相关的问题。以经、史、子、集四部分类为基础的传统目录学仍具有不可或缺的作用,传统目录学与现代数据库技术的结合才能更好地适应新时期的古籍数据库建设,并对传统文史学科的发展提供更好的支持。

Researchers of traditional social sciences such as literature,history and philosophy have to search tremendous amount of ancient books. So a database of ancient books becomes more and more important to research of traditional social sciences. And how to develop an effective database of ancient books become a closely related topic to traditional social sciences. The classic bibliography of Chinese ancient book still proves to be indispensable in database development. A successful integration of classic bibliography and modern database technology could serve better to the needs of constructing the database of Chinese ancient books.
