摘要 It is common sense that mammals reproduce sexually, whereby a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell. And at some point later in reproduction, a baby with the genetic mixtures from the both parents pops out. However, this common perception was shattered by a recent study conducted by researchers from the Institute of Zoology (IOZ), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS).
