摘要
目前 ,我国的英语教学从小学到大学甚至延续到研究生阶段 ,耗时 1 0~ 1 4年。但是 ,这么一条龙的教学却缺少统一的规划与合理的衔接 ,造成费时、费力和资源浪费等问题。通过调查、测试分析 ,不难发现在外语教学条件、师资培养和教学目标诸方面 ,我国的东、西部一直存在着明显的差距。这种不合理的现象和效果与 2 1世纪国际经济全球化十分不协调。必须明确教学目标 ,改进教学法 ,由应试教育向素质教育转型 。
English teaching and leaming lasts 10 to 14 years from primary school till graduate school in our country.Many problems arises as lack of systematic plamming and reasonable links,which results in a waste of time and human resources.After investigation and testing analysis it is found out that in some fields such as teaching conditions,teachers training and teaching planning,there exist obvious differences between the areas of the east and the west part of China.These phenomena fail to match the global economic development in the 21 st century.It is essential to improve the present situation in English teaching especially for a change from the testing model to quality focus.
