The Ideological Meaning of 中州Literature

三岛中洲 (1830 - 1919)为日本明治时期的著名儒学家、教育家、汉文学作家 ,与重野成斋、川田江并称为明治三文宗。中洲“奉孔学”、“最好姚江”,其文学创作与社会实践结合紧密 ,表现出“义利合一”、“竞争谦让相济”等经纶思想以及“日新世用”、兼容并蓄等育人理念。其丰富的思想内涵在日本近代文学史、教育史上占有重要位置。

As a famous Confucianist, educator and writer of Han literature, 三岛中州,along with重野成斋and 川田 江, were called the masters of literature of Meiji Period. 中州 'believe in Confucianism' and 'likes Yao and Jiang best'. Related closely with social reality, his literary works demonstrated some valuable conceptions of economics, ethics and education. They, with their plenty ideological annotations, occupied an importance place in the history of Japanese literature and education.
