The sidelobe cancellation performance of the Patriot radar system is deeply evaluated . Signal model and cancellation model for the radar system are first discussed, which are the basis for the performance analysis. The matched model of the requirement for the number of jammers and auxiliary antennas are first discussed, and the corresponding cancellation performance is simulated explicitly. Simulation results indicate that the Patriot radar system shares the excellent cancellation performance when only one jammer exists, and the sidelobe cancellation system is also useful when two jammers exist. In the end, some useful conclusions are drawn.
