Construct New Study of Chu-ci in The Blueprint of National Rejuvenation

中华民族开始了伟大的民族文化复兴,这既是今后几代中国知识分子肩负的重任,也是其精神支点。新楚辞学的建构必须在这文化复兴的大趋势、大背景下进行,由此促使它对传统楚辞学的全面超越:文化复兴将从三方面对先秦文化重新认识,新楚辞学则将以典籍、考古、民俗"三重证据法"建立起基础材料层面的三支点结构;文化复兴将对传统文化深层次的如爱国精神、人文精神等层面进行反省,新楚辞学则将在中华民族的民族精神、人格精神的建设中起重要作用;文化复兴将使中华文化与西方文化在碰撞、交流、融合中,共同寻求一种大家都可以接受的世界性文化氛围,新楚辞学则将在成为世界性学问的过程中实现两个"互动"———与有中国特色的文学理论、"世界性文学理论"的建设"互动"。

Chinese people have started the great rejuvenation of national culture. It is the important task and spiritual pivot of Chinese intellectuals of next generations. The construction of new study of Chuci must be carried out in the big trend and big background of cultural rejuvenation and promoted to an overall surpassing of the traditional study of Chuci. The cultural rejuvenation will have a renewed knowledge of preQin Dynasty in three aspects. The new study of Chuciwill use the 'threelevel evidence method' of classical books, archeology and folk custom to establish a threepivot structure on the primary material level. The cultural rejuvenation will retrospect on the deep levels of traditional culture such as patriotism and humanity. The new study of Chuci will play an important role in the construction of Chinese national spirit and personality. The cultural rejuvenation will make Chinese culture and Western culture seek together for universallyacknowledged global cultural atmosphere in the process of collision, intercourse and amalgamation. The new study of Chuci will realize on its way to an international study two 'interactions'-interaction with literary theories with Chinese characteristics and with 'global literary theories.
