The Debate over Political Science between“Neo-Left”and Liberalism

2 0世纪 90年代末 ,“新左派”与自由主义之间进行了激烈的思想争论。这场争论从政治学的角度观之 ,主要涉及到以下三个问题 :一是自由与平等的优先性问题 ;二是有关社会公正问题 ;三是民主的制度形式。本文认为 ,“新左派”与自由主义的政治学之争是知识分子对转型中国的人文关怀 ,虽然两派争论的学术含量不高 ,但其争论的意义超出了争论本身。只要社会在变革 。

The thought debate from the prospective of political science took place between “Neo Left” and Liberalism at the end of 1990s. This debate mainly concerned following three questions. The first one is about which should be given priority, freedom or equality; the second social justice; and the last upon the institutional form of democracy. The paper advances the debate reflected the intellectuals' care for the changing China. Although its academic level is not high, its meaning has exceeded the debate itself. As long as the social changes go on, the discusion is inevitable.
