A new calibration approach for mutual coupling among sensors was discussed. The benefit of this method is that only one added signal is needed and its angle may be unknown. The method could improve the resolution of direction- distinction algorithm. The paper applied this method to the uniformly spaced circular arrays and the computer simulation results proved the superiority of the method.
