Combined with a practical project example of gas & steam turbine combined cycle generating unit at Yangling Gas-turbine Thermal Power Plant, the properties of combined cycle generating unit, as well as application of a new type distributed control system-simatic PCS7 in combined cycle power plant have been presented, and some problems encountered in the course of application are given.
