Applying the basic theory of pyrology and cement clinker sintering process, together with operation experience to 1000t/d precalcining kiln with coal as fuel, the authors demonstrate systematically the thermal performances and operational properties of precalcining kilns, especially on the thermal performances of various thermal equipment and their relationships to each other in precalcining system.
