This paper summarized the present condition of studies on new cage cucurbituril homologues-cucurbituril(n=5,7,and 8),it concluded the interactions of these cucurbituril with different substances and compounds,it also discussed the achievements and prospects for the cucurbituril in theoretic and applied tudies.
