摘要
广告英语不同于日常普通英语,它是为了传播一定的广告信息,机智而策略地选词造句。要使广告英语既丰富多彩、引人入胜,同时又易于理解、便于传播、利于记忆就要掌握修辞手法和用词两个方面技巧。
Language for advertisement is special in the sense that it is quite different from everyday English. It is intended to attract and hold readers' attention. It is purposefully edited to be easy to understand, transfer and remember. How can we achieve these goals? This paper gives a tentative study on the writing techniques of advertisement English through use of rhetoric devices and choice of vocabulary.
