“以人为本”是王筠语文教育思想的核心。他认为,语文教育要想走出当时唯科举是从的困境,复归其本真使命,必须进行切实有效的“矫枉”。由此,他确立了“学生是人”的语文教育理念,并将其贯彻于具体的教学实践中,以此充分发挥语文教学育人的可能性。这为当时语文教育如何摆脱科举束缚、自身主动作出积极回应,提供了一种可能。
Humanism is the essence of Wang Yun' thought concerning Chinese education. He held that 'over - correction' was necessary to free Chinese education from imperial examination and enable it to fulfil its genuine misson. He established the Chinese educational notion of 'students are human', and he carried out the notion in definite teaching practice so as to fully realize the function of Chinese education in cultivating people. This thought provided a possibility to the Chinese education reform in his days which aimed at breaking through the imperial examination system and regaining initiative.
