Aesthetic Reflection on the Individual Character of Chinese as a Course

语文教育的论争史实际上昭示了一个问题:语文学科个性的迷失是语文教育对政治观念依附的结果。对语文教育的依附性进行反省自察,美学立场可能是最好的选择。语文教育应从美学立场抛开现成的理性框架,抛开固有的常识规范,重新洞悉自身,释放自身自由创造的学科个性意识。

The Polemics concerning the teaching of Chinese have in fact made clear to all that the loss of its individual character is a result of its becoming an appendage to politics. An aesthetic viewpoint and method of study is probably the best replacement. So in the teaching of Chinese it is necessary to break free from the theoretical framework and norm of common sense currently in effect, reexamine it in the new perspective and foster the consciousness of its individual character which is typified by unrestrained creativity on the educators' part.
