摘要
长期在应试教育主导和指导下的以教师为中心的大学外语教学重视学生语言知识的传授而忽视学生实际运用能力的培养。这种教学模式已不再适应当前社会、政治、经济的发展需求。如何转换教学模式,培养学生的语言运用能力,达到新大纲要求的能“用英语交流信息”的教学目标?在外语教学中,根据创造性思维的主要特点,启发学生的创造性思维,巧妙灵活地重组课文,创设开放式的外语课堂,并在此过程中引入竞争机制。这一种新的以学生为中心的教学模式,能激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生的创造性、积极性、主动性,引导学生参加语言交际活动,从而培养学生的语言运用能力。
Guided by the long-established exam-oriented and teacher-centered teaching model,traditional approach to college English teaching has attached too much importance to the teaching of language itself rather than students' competence of using the language.Obviously,this teaching approach can no longer meet the needs of the development,so how to change it and transform the teaching emphasis to the cultivation of students' competence of using the language so as to reach the goal required by the new syllable that students can″use English to exchange information″?Based on the main characteristics of creative thinking to inspire students' creative thinking,to re-construct texts skillfully and cleverly,to create open classroom atmosphere and to draw into com-petitive systems,teachers may adopt a student-centered new teaching method which can activate students' learning interests,arouse their creativity,activity and initiative,lead them into participat-ing the communicative activities to cultivate their competence of using the language.
