摘要
根据历史文献和前人研究成果叙述了雷州市和徐闻县的历史沿革,介绍了汉代古徐闻县治在今雷州市雷城镇之说是可取的;评述认为汉徐闻县治在今徐闻县南部迈陈、或土旺、或二桥等地之说,既无正确的古文献根据,也缺乏考古学资料依据。
On the basis of the historical literature, the historical evolution of administrative divisions of Leizhou City and Xuwen County is studied. It is shown that Leicheng Town, Leizhou City was ancient Xuwen County seat in the Han Dynasty. Some people argue that the ancient Xuwen County seat in Han Dynasty was Maichen, or Tuwang, or Erqiao et al in the south what is now Xuwen County. Those opinions lack basis of correct ancient literature and foundation of archaeological evidence.
