清代巡台御史制度研究

A Study of the Qing Dynasty System of Taiwan Inspectors (xun Tai - yushi)

派遣御史巡察台湾是清代治台政策中的一项重要措施,这一制度共实行了60多年。本文试从巡台御史的设立与派遣、职责和作为,巡台御史与地方官员的关系以及清廷对巡台御史的态度等方面对清代巡台御史制度作一比较系统的考察。

The despatch of Taiwan patrolling inspectors was one of the important measures of Taiwan policy adopted hy the Qing Dynasty, and the system remained in place for more than sixty years. This paper is a systematic study of the system of Taiwan patrolling inspectors from the perspectives of their establishment and despatch of the officers, the responsibilities of their position, their actions, the relationship between the inspectors and local officials and the attitude of the Qing court towards the Taiwan inspectors.
