It is the necessary measure to improve the enterprise product development capacity to implement gener-alization,serialization and standardization of technical equipments.The generalization types applied in automotive transmission production are discussed. The design principles and design considerations to the applied general technical equipments are presented,and the viewpoint of using dynamic model as the design reference and concept of element design are presented especially.On implement of general jigs and fixtures,the viewpoint of building up enterprise general technical e-quipment standards is put forward.Well application of generalization technical equipments can reduce the average development cost of single part by 60 %,and shorten development time by 50 %.
