Descriptions were made on importance of mating system of wood community through mating system, mating system in artificial forest, mating system and genetic diversity. Mating system is an important factor of community genetics. Any variation of the system will cause variation of genetic parameter and diversity of the community thus influencing strategy for nature resources protection. In artificial stand like breeding garden, different mating types had effect on seed yield and quality.
