Expression and Significance of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in Human Colorectal Carcinoma

目的 研究基质金属蛋白酶 - 2 (MMP - 2 )和组织基质金属蛋白酶抑制剂 - 2 (TIMP - 2 )在人大肠癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法 通过免疫组织化学的方法检测 6 0例大肠癌组织中MMP - 2和TIMP - 2的表达情况。结果 MMP - 2和TIMP - 2在大肠癌中表达的阴性率分别为 6 6 7%和 30 0 % ;MMP - 2的表达与淋巴结转移呈正相关 ,而TIMP - 2的表达则相反。结论 MMP - 2和TIMP - 2的表达与大肠癌淋巴结转移密切相关 。

Objective To understand the relation between the expression of MMP-2 TIMP-2 and the clinical pathology in human cororectal carcinoma. Methods SP immunohistological staining was used to detect the expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in 60 cases of human colorectal carcinoma. Results The expression rate of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were 66.7% and 30.0% respectively. The expression of MMP-2 was positively correlated to lymph node metastasis. The expression of TIMP-2 was negatively correlated to lymph node metastasis. Conclusion The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 might be closely serve as a parameter for determining tumor biological behavior.
