Some key issues in the process of developing MIS

建设一个先进的管理信息系统,是我国企业面对世界列强进行经济竞争所采取的战略措施之一。企业在开发MIS的过程中要特别注意几个关键问题:"一把手"原则是MIS开发成功的首要原则;信息是企业的重要战略资源,企业要加强基础信息的管理;一个先进的MIS系统体现的是先进的管理思想和管理模式,MIS的开发要与企业的改革同时进行;在人员培训时特别要注重先进的管理思想的学习;要正确评价MIS的经济效益。

Establishing an advanced MIS is one of the strategic measures that has been taken by Chinese enterprises in order to compete with other economic powers in the world. Some key issues that the enterprises should pay special attentions in the process of developing MIS are as follows: the principle of 'Fist Hand' is the foremost principle in successfully developing MIS. Information is the strategic resources of an enterprise, the management of which should be strengthened. From an advanced MIS should go parallel with enterprise reform. We should stress on the studying of the management theory when training our staff; and the economic benefit brought by MIS should also be properly judged.
