摘要 随着人类基因组计划的迅速推进 ,越来越多的基因被测序 ,对新基因功能的确定变得更为迫切。反义DNA技术由于它在多种生物体中的高效性、抑制基因表达的可逆性、相对的低成本和在疾病治疗上的潜力 ,在基因功能的研究中已受到了广泛的关注。在这篇文章里 ,作者总结了反义DNA技术的进展及其在动物学研究中的应用。 As more and more genes are sequenced and mapped by the human genome project, the determination of the function of novel genes becomes of increasing importance. Antisense technology has been highly successful at studying the function of the proteins encoded by the genes,because of its effectiveness in many species,reversibility of the underexpression,relatively low cost,and potential for therapeutic use.In this article, the authors review the progress of this technology and the potential roles that it might play in zoological research.
