论中国共产党的“五大作风”

On the Five Important Styles of Work of the C.P.C

执政党的党风建设 ,也关系到国家的兴衰、民族事业的成败。中国共产党在长期的革命和建设实践中形成了理论联系实际、密切联系群众、批评与自我批评、艰苦奋斗、民主集中制五大作风。我们党在领导人民全面建设小康社会的伟大实践中 ,应把这五大作风发扬光大 ,真正做到“三个代表”才能完成历史赋予我们的使命。

The rectification of our Party's work style closely connects with the fate of our nation and that of national cause. The C.P.C has been tempered in long years of revolution and construction, forming the Five Important Styles of Work (i.e. integrating theory with practice, forging close links with the masses, practising criticism and self-criticism, keeping the style of hard struggle, and exerting the democratic centralism.) In leading the people to construct a well-off society in an all-round way, our Party should carry forward the Five Important Styles of Work and the 'Three Represents' to fulfil our tasks entrusted by history.
