摘要
基于Wigner分布函数和强度矩方法,研究了多束高斯叠加模型光束(MGB)的光束特性,推导出了M2因子和束宽的解析表达式.对多束高斯叠加模型光束(MGB)和超高斯光束(SGB)的传输变换特性作了比较研究,结果表明,具有相同M2因子的MGB和SGB光束在广义菲涅耳数相同的平面上具有十分相似的横向光强分布,尽管其束宽和传输距离可能不相同.
The propagation characteristics of the MultiGaussian beams (MGB) and SuperGaussian beams (SGB) have been studied and compared with each other, based on the Wigner distribution function and irradiance moments method. The characteristic parameters of MultiGaussian beams (MGB), such as the M2 factor and beam width, are derived analytically. Numerical examples have been given. The main result obtained in this paper is that two MGB and SGB with the same M2 factor present a similar transverse irradiance distribution at a position of the equal generalized Fresnel number despite the fact that the beam width and propagation distance may be different.
