摘要
为了更好地组织地理信息系统中越来越丰富的空间数据和属性数据,提出了一种基于ODBC(OpenDataBaseConnectivity)技术、异构数据库技术的设计方法。应用此种设计方法,用户可以灵活、动态地在GIS(GeographicInformationSystem)中挂接不同的数据库系统。给出了该方法在环保地理信息系统中的实际应用,详细地讨论了这种设计方法的实现过程,并对该方法在环保地理信息系统设计中所起到的作用进行了评价。
The organization of spatial data and attribute data in GIS(Geographic information system) system has always been a problem. To organize the abundant data in geographic information system more efficiently,a new technique based on ODBC(Open DataBase Connectivity) and isomeric database design in GIS application are given. Using this technique, people can access different database flexibly and easily. The realization of this technique in environment GIS application is given; the method of realizing the technique and the significance of using this technique is discussed.
