At his old age,Lukais made every possible effort to expound the issue on the development of society and man from the viewpoint of historical materialism.Relating and analyzing the process of development from the silent category of being to the sound category of being,from the category of being in itself to the category of being for itself,and from the one\|sided man to the all\|sided man,he brilliantly expounded a practical means through which mans freedom and liberation could be realized by surmounting alienation.
