The article gives a brief introduction to the development of public administration in Canada. Starting from the factors playing critical roles in public administration, the analysis touches the specific' social and economic background in which public administration takes place. The article also tackles the similarities and differences between publie administration and private management in Canada. A key aspect of this paper is to provide the experiences for us to learn, meanwhile to avoid mistakes on the way of future development.
