摘要媒体对疯牛病的有关报道让爱吃牛肉的顾客心存恐惧。然而,与该疾病有关的朊病毒蛋白(PrP)的非正规生物学特性令许多科学家感到怀疑和惊奇。朊病毒病由一组不同的神经变性疾病构成,包括羊痒病(绵羊和山羊的一种脑病)和牛海绵状脑病(BSE);在人类包括克雅病(CJD)、库鲁病、GSS病等。过去的十年中。
