Uxorilocal Marriage in Rural China: An Analysis on In-depth Survey of Marriage form in Songzi

本文利用湖北省松滋县婚姻模式深访和个访的调查数据与资料 ,较系统地研究了中国农村汉族地区招赘婚姻的历史、现状与未来 ,以定性方法分析了当地招赘婚姻的成因、内容、特点和对家庭关系和家庭养老的影响 。

Based on the data and information from the in\|depth survey of marriage form in Songzi county, Hubei province, this paper explores the history, actuality and future of uxorilocal marriage of Han people in rural China systematically. Using qualitative method, it analyzes causes, factors, and characteristics of uxorilocal marriage as well as its effects on family relationship and old\|age support. Its social implications are also discussed. N
