Research and Design of CORBA-Based Integrated Electronic Conference System

集成电子会议系统(IECS)是随着计算机控制、网络和多媒体技术的进步,在会议召开方式的民主化、科学化要求下逐渐发展起来的,它是传统会议召开方式的延伸和发展。当前的集成电子会议系统多采用紧耦合方式实现,在跨平台通信和可伸缩性方面存在较多的问题。该文综合分析了国内集成电子会议系统领域发展现状,并针对具体需求提出了基于分布式对象技术CORBA的CommonService平台解决方案。

Integrated Electronic Conference System(IECS)is developing with the increasing requirements for scientificity and democratization of conference holding.IECS is the extension and development of traditional conferences,always implemented in a tight-coupled way.Thus the system has many limitations,especially in scalability and cross-platform communication.This paper makes a state-of-the-art analysis of IECS,points out the existing problems of such systems ,and then presents a CORBA-based Common Service solution.
