大学英语文化教学之我见

Cultural teaching of college English for non-English majors

尽管对文化教学在外语教学中的重要意义已达成共识,但大学英语教学的文化教学迄今未得到实际的重视,非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力的现状堪忧。要适应中国经济的发展,大学英语的文化教学势在必行。本文指出了存在于文化教学中的一些问题,对实施和改进大学英语的文化教学提出了一些建议。

Due importance has not been attached to cultural learning among non-English majors in college, which is partly responsible for their lack of communicative competence. The rapidly growing international exchanges have presented an even greater challenge to college English teaching for non-English majors. This paper points out some problems in college English teaching, and suggests measures to be taken to conduct or strengthen cultural teaching of college English.
