《红楼梦》惟一几近“全人”的平儿是深受读者喜爱与赞美的人物形象。本文从平儿不平常的容貌 ,不平庸的才华 ,坎坷不平坦的人生遭遇等方面论述了平儿的“不平”之处 ,及其内外兼美性格形成的原因。曹雪芹采取了“追踪蹑迹”地“实录”的现实主义创作方法 ,在广阔的社会关系中刻画了一个性格完整与丰富的平儿的形象 。

Abstract:The only character with great human inter est in “A Dream of Red Mansions” is Pingr, who deserves readers'appreciation. This article expounds her distinguished character and the formation from her unordin ary features, extraordinary gifts and unlucky experiences. Mr. Cao depicted a fu ll and rich image in wide social relations, showing realism. And this image refl ects the personality charm of Chinese traditional virtues.
