厦门岛绿色快速公共交通系统发展构想——Metrobus系统在厦门岛的应用可行性分析

Sketch Plan of Rapid Green Public Transportation System in Xiamen City:An Application Feasibility Study of Metrobus System in Xianmen City

作为融合多种公交方式的特点而形成的一种新型公共交通系统,Metrobus系统既具有轨道交通系统大运量、快捷的特点,又具有常规公交方便、灵活的特色。结合厦门岛城市布局和交通特征以及Metrobus系统的特性,提出了运用Metrobus技术构建厦门岛绿色快速公共交通系统的构想,并对厦门岛快速公交网络进行了初步规划。

Metrobus is a new type of public transport system combining characteristics ofother public transportation modes. It is not only in possession of large-capacity and character-istics of rapid rail transport system, but also has features of flexibility and convenience frombuses. While considering Xiamen city traffic flow and layout, and characteristics of Metrobussystem, a sketch plan of rapid green public transportation system is put forward. Furthermore,a preliminary plan of the rapid public transport network is also proposed.
