摘要 “显性法”与“隐性法”曾为相互对立的两种外语教学法。二者从对立到融合再到互补的发展过程 ,反映了人们对外语教学本质认识的不断深化和教学理论的日臻完善。本文追溯了显性法与隐性法的发展历史 ,对二者的基本原理及应用技巧进行了分析对比 ,并就实际应用问题提出了几点见解。 Explicit and implicit approaches used to be two conflicting approaches to foreign language teaching. The process of their development, from the dominance of explicit over implicit approaches through the replacement of the former by the latter to their co-existence and mutual compensation, reflects the deepening of our understanding of the nature of foreign language teaching and advancement of language teaching pedagogy in general. This paper first traces the brief history of development of explicit and implicit approaches, followed by an analysis and comparison of their respective rationales and techniques. It concludes with a discussion of the relevant issues concerning the application of the two approaches.
