摘要
本文以问卷调查为基本方法,在对问卷进行统计的基础上分析了珠江三角洲中小学教育信息化建设、中小学教师信息素养和学生信息素养的现状,对存在的问题进行分析,并提出了进一步促进学校教育信息化建设的建议和措施。
To better understand the development and utilization of IT in the Pearl River Delta and to evaluate the information literacy of teachers and students in the area,the authors carried out a questionnaire survey.It is hoped that the information gathered can assist primary and secondary schools in developing IT infras-tructure and enhancing the information literacy of both teachers and students.The teachers of24elementary and middle schools in Pearl River Delta cities took part in the survey.The students who were the subjects of this study included Junior High2nd Year and Senior High2nd Year students in a number of middle schools in the Pearl River Delta and students in their final year of study in elementary schools in Guangzhou,Nanhai,Shenzhen and Zhuhai.The survey results illustrated that the development of IT infrastructure in these schools is rather ad-vanced and most have invested enormously in hardware and software.The utilization of IT in education is also satisfactory:the quality of teaching has increased,the paradigm of teaching has changed and the infor-mation literacy of students has been effectively enhanced.However,the gap between key and non-key schools,urban and village schools has been enlarging.In non-key and village schools,the resources and software leave much to be desired.Improvements in IT infrastructure,teacher training and students' informa-tion literacy are much needed.The recommendations of the study include:nurturing an environment for the development of IT applications,constructing databases,training teachers in integrating IT into their teaching activities and promoting information literacy among students.
