《金瓶梅》是中国古代世情小说中的杰作,因其反封建名教的描写而被视为淫书,屡遭查禁。历代有识之士却充分肯定其艺术价值。自张竹坡评点《金瓶梅》开始,对《金瓶梅》中人物的研究进入了一个新阶段。从中国传统思维倾向的新角度研究"淫妇"恶谥的原因,有助于更深入地理解有关人物。

JinPingMei is one of the ancient masterpieces on worldly affairs. For many years, it has been regarded as pornographic literature and placed under a ban for its repudiation of feudal society. However, learners of insight, from past to present, have approved its art value. This article has studied the reason of malicious name as adulteress' from a new point of view of Chinese traditional thinking inclination.
